EAPs
US Local/State EAP EAP Vendors offer a variety of products and delivery methods to achieve a successful return on investment. Crisis/Workplace Violence

Addressing crisis and workplace violence has generally been integrated within EAP programs.  The value to organizations is demonstrated time and time again.  Greater specialization and intervention skills have since developed. EAPs and Crisis Organizations have developed networks and products to meet this demanding need.

Work-Life Services

Work-life services often compliment EAPs with emphasis on wellness, both physical and psychological. Resources and programs focus on balancing the needs of employees in and out of the workplace.

DOT/SAP

Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Rules (49 CFR, Part 40; 19 December 2000) require Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) to participate in formal SAP training. Vendors who have met the criteria and understand the rules and regulations of the DOT are listed here.

Childcare /Eldercare

Childcare and Eldercare services have blossomed to meet the needs of a workforce with competing demands of attending to their children and elderly parents. Often a specialty of Work-life programs, organizations and EAPs have also added these services to their comprehensive approach.

Evaluation/Design

Not sure your getting a bang for your buck? Or do not know where to begin to develop an EAP program to suit your specific needs?  Evaluation and design services can objectively determine if your EAP is meeting your goals and/or assist in the improvement of your EAP services.

Divorce Mediation Services

Divorce mediation is a preferred manner to resolve marital discord resulting in divorce. Developing a non adversarial approach offers a more positive family environment for transitioning into a new family framework, which is future oriented vs. attacking the past. Divorce mediation is substantially more cost effective emotionally and financially.
IT Solutions

Technology has provided solutions to improve efficiency in record taking, statistical analysis and generating meaningful reports based on data.
Newsletters

Newsletters demonstrate an active participation in keeping the reader informed on current trends and issues. Newsletters can be either produced through email campaigns or in hardcopy.

Financial/Legal

EAPs can offer assistance in helping employees cope with the stress related to financial and legal problems or identifying underlying psychological concerns that can lead to problems in these areas.  Organizations that specialize in financial and legal issues provide the additional resources and expertise for dealing with the concern immediately and in a resourceful manner.

Training/Coaching

Training and Coaching can be mutually exclusive services.  Training can be from brown bag seminars or lunch time series to specialized workshops and conferences. Coaches work with the organization to assist targeted employees to enhance their workplace skills.

Clinical Networks

Organizations have credentialed mental health providers in various locations as part of their EAP services or as an adjunct to EAP services.

Expatriate

Meeting the needs of the worker based out of their home country is a detailed process which includes the worker, organization and family to achieve maximum success.

Drug Screening

Did you know that standard drug test do not test for the presence of drugs but uses cut-off points?  That means there may be a drug in the system of an individual but because it falls below a determined value, the report comes back negative. Screening is an important part of a Zero Tolerance Drug policy.

Convenient weekend hours, easy parking. With brief, solution-focused therapy our clients can achieve rapid relief and highest performance status in a few sessions, while benefiting from either a thorough assessment and referral model or a format where the employee is free to continue with the therapist for ongoing treatment. We find that the most common distress driving EAP referrals is a need for couples' or other relationship counseling. Fair Fighting is a great model from the University of Denver research program called PREP. I have studied and practiced this model for 5 years and am a Certified PREP trainer. We have experience with various comprehensive EAP program models and can evaluate and advise your program needs.
