and workplace violence has generally been integrated within EAP programs.
The value to organizations is demonstrated time and time again.
Greater specialization and intervention skills have since developed. EAPs
and Crisis Organizations have developed networks and products to meet this
demanding need.
Work-Life Services
Work-life
services often compliment EAPs with emphasis on wellness, both
physical and psychological. Resources and programs focus on balancing the
needs of employees in and out of the workplace.
DOT/SAP

Childcare /Eldercare
Childcare and Eldercare services have
blossomed to meet the needs of a workforce with competing demands of
attending to their children and elderly parents. Often a specialty of
Work-life programs, organizations and EAPs have also added these services to
their comprehensive approach.

employees cope with the stress related to financial and legal problems or
identifying underlying psychological concerns that can lead to problems in these
areas. Organizations that specialize in financial and legal issues
provide the additional resources and expertise for dealing with the concern
immediately and in a resourceful manner.

Did you know that standard drug test do not test for the presence of drugs but uses cut-off points? That means there may be a drug in the system of an individual but because it falls below a determined value, the report comes back negative.
